Learn hunt seat riding from Liz Bjorklund, an FVS English riding coach and barn manager. The camp is highly individualized, intensive and finishes with an exhibition for families. Campers will also learn aspects of horsemanship including grooming, saddling, stable management, horse care, feeding, and basic veterinary and farrier care.

When: June 3 - 7, 2019, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily

For: Ages 9-18 (we are not able to accommodate riders under 9 years)

Fitted shirts with long sleeves -- NO loose tank tops...etc.
Jeans or long fitted pants -- NO thin leggings
Boots or close-toed shoes with a heel -- NO athletic shoes
Jacket (that can be removed via zipper; not over-the-head)
Reusable Water bottle
Riding helmets are always required; we have some to use.
Bring a swimsuit and towel for an afternoon (2:30 pm -- 3:30 pm) dip in the pool.
Campers will be provided with lunch and snacks. If your camper has any food allergies, please let us know as soon as possible. Note: camp ends each day at 3:30 pm MST.
Refund Policy: After the camp fee is paid in full and an application is withdrawn 60 days or more before the start of camp, you will receive a refund less the $100 deposit. No refunds for cancellation will be made within 60 days prior to the start of camp. Should a participant leave camp due to injury or illness the full camp fee is nonrefundable.
