Surrounded by faculty and friends, students can enjoy three homemade meals daily in the on-campus Dining Hall, as dishes made from wholesome ingredients stimulate the senses and transport them back to their very own kitchens. Presented by Flik Dining–a premier food service company serving independent schools nationwide–breakfast options range from light to hearty. Meanwhile, lunch and dinner options include entrées and chef specials, brick oven-fired pizzas, soups, salad and sandwich bars, and ice cream for dessert.
No matter students’ personal meal preferences or dietary needs, there’s something for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-sensitive eaters, in the Dining Hall at FVS. Flik’s caring and expert staff accommodates students presenting with food sensitivities by carefully labeling each meal to identify various allergens. Families must communicate their student's special dietary restrictions with the Wellness Center. FVS and Flik also partner with local farms and ranches to bring the freshest produce to the table and strive to employ sustainable practices, such as composting in the School garden, to promote environmental responsibility on the Prairie.
