Julia Alling P '18 is in her fourth year as director of advancement at Fountain Valley School. As a member of the FVS community she serves as a student adviser and is dorm aunt in Figge. She has a bachelor's degree from Hollins College in Roanoke, Va., and a master's from the University of New Hampshire. She lives on campus with her husband, Paul Graney, and their three children.

In her 10th year at FVS, Laura works closely with fellow co-director of communications Jeanne Olive to oversee all aspects of FVS communications and marketing. Her primary responsibility is the FVS website and social media, and she also contributes to the School’s marketing efforts and publications.
She has worked primarily in the sports industry, with athletic media relations jobs at St. Lawrence University and the U.S. Air Force Academy. Prior to FVS, she spent eight years at U.S. Figure Skating overseeing publications and the website. She has worked at three Olympic Games (two as a press officer and one as an information manager). Laura is the official statistician for Air Force Academy home football games. She and her husband, Adam Curry, live in Colorado Springs with their dog, Bixby.
Eric Kronebusch is in his second year at Fountain Valley School as the assistant director of advancement for alumni affairs. He graduated from Colorado State University in 2011. During his time at CSU, Eric interned with the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) for two years. After graduation he returned to Colorado Springs where he spent four years with the MLBPAA in the events department, becoming the director of events. He enjoys engaging alumni in the FVS community. Eric lives in the southwestern area of Colorado Springs.
Kate (Faricy) Maiurro graduated from Fountain Valley School in 2000 and, after graduation from the University of Kansas in 2004, returned to Colorado Springs where she spent two years participating in the Fellowship Program at El Pomar Foundation. Upon completion of the leadership and professional development fellowship in 2006, Kate returned to FVS where she worked as the associate director of admission and director of financial aid until 2012. Kate joined the Advancement Office in 2012 and serves as the deputy director of advancement, primarily responsible for annual giving and parent engagement. Kate thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to engage alumni and their families in the FVS community and is here for any/all questions parents may have. Kate lives off campus with her husband, Peter, and their daughters, Elizabeth and Josephine.
Jeanne works closely with fellow co-director of communications Laura Fawcett to oversee all aspects of FVS communications and marketing. She has more than 25 years of editing/writing/marketing experience for national companies and organizations. Past projects include writing Olympic bid books for two U.S. cities. Her son Henry is a 2008 graduate.
Brittny has recently joined the Advancement Office as an administrative assistant. She helps the entire team, including Head of School William Webb, with any challenges and tasks they may have. Before joining Fountain Valley, she worked at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs assisting soldiers who are transitioning to civilian life.
Brittny graduated high school in The Netherlands and has traveled to many places in North America and Europe. Originally from Washington, she loves her Seattle sports and goes home to visit family whenever she can. Brittny enjoys spending time with her family, including her two wonderful dogs, Kiefer and Bella.
Sheila manages the Advancement Office's donor prospect development and moves management function. She works closely with the School's fundraising staff on devising and documenting cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies; she also ensures that proper systems and data maintenance are in place to support these activities. Prior to FVS, she spent 13 years at U.S. Figure Skating as the advertising manager for the organization’s official publication, SKATING, and as the corporate sponsorship assistant servicing nine corporate partners.
