Student-Faculty Relationships

Our teacher-student connections are unparalleled to anywhere else. I feel so close to many of the faculty on campus and will definitely keep in contact with them after graduation. It really is incredible.

Transformative Life Experiences

Going to Fountain Valley was probably one of the best things that I could have done. I [underwent] a lot of my educational and emotional growth at FVS. I had experiences there that I still talk about to this day and rely on in times of uncertainty. I truly think I would not be where I am today if I hadn’t had the opportunity to attend Fountain Valley School.

Impacting Generations

FVS has held a special place in my heart since I was eight years old. Having grown up on its sprawling 1,100-acre campus as a faculty child, I always felt at home. Later, as a student, I was privileged to receive a world-class education from its exceptional faculty, which laid the foundation for my future success. Without hesitation, FVS was the only private school I considered for my daughter. She, too, cherishes her time at FVS.

Caring and Experienced Faculty

I believe deeply in the unique and transformative learning that happens within the adobe walls of FVS and beyond. One of my favorite parts of teaching language at Fountain Valley School is the opportunity to take students abroad on Interim to practice their conversational skills while immersed in the target language in destinations like Morocco, France, and Colombia. Having served as the Chair of the Languages Department since 2020 and Dean of Faculty, Equity & Teaching since 2023, I was inspired to work at Fountain Valley after seeing the positive impact it had on my younger brother, Zachary '13, and Zachary's father, Douglas '76.
