ICCON Construction continues to make long strides on our new Athletic Center. Here you'll see the majority of exterior walls up from the main entrance, sparks flying as walls for interior rooms are assembled, Sheila Walker dwarfed by the (now concrete-filled) lap pool and new stairs and walkway leading from the new parking lot up to Admission in the Hacienda
The tower crane arrived this week, the surest symbol of progress! It took 17 semis to bring the crane on campus. The first wall for the Athletic Center went up on Wednesday. Faculty move-ins to their new homes finishes up this weekend. And we're making plans for a coffee and doughnut gathering for when the new Maintenance Facility opens soon. Onward!
Grateful faculty have moved into their lovely new homes, strengthening FVS's 24/7 learning-community model. The design of these homes is consistent with Fountain Valley's iconic adobe architecture. The Maintenance Facility will be move-in ready in about a month, and construction has begun on the Athletic Center!
Big wheels keep on turning as excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, graders and more prepare the site for the new Athletic Center. The new maintenance facility is shaping up quickly and faculty houses are nearing completion.
