It's a show 30 years in the making!

Fountain Valley School of Colorado artist-in-residence Mark Dillon P '08, '10, '11 and renowned Pikes Peak-area ceramicist Mark Wong '86 have teamed for an ambitious holiday show featuring hundreds of teapots finished in myriad glazes.

"TeaPotsulating" opens Friday, Dec. 2, at the Kreuser Gallery in Colorado Springs, 218 West Colorado Avenue (under the bridge). The opening is from 5-8 p.m., and the show runs until Dec. 30.

Some of the teapots were fired in the FVS wood kiln, lovingly known as the Dane Train. The show is special in another way: 30 years ago, Dillon taught ceramics to Wong in the FVS Art Barn.
