FVS Students Sweep 3-D Category in Tri-Peaks League Art Exhibition

For the second straight year, Fountain Valley School of Colorado artists swept the 3-D category at the Tri-Peaks League Art Exhibition.

For the second straight year, Fountain Valley School of Colorado artists swept the 3-D category at the Tri-Peaks League Art Exhibition.

Owen Bedford '16, Abby Gustke '16 and Annika Furman '17 finished first, second and third, respectively, for their ceramic and metalsmithing pieces. Rome Martignoli '18 won the People's Choice Award in 3D for “Chimera” and Greer Hill '16 earned a Juror’s Choice Award for “Whirlygig.”

The competition honors the top three in 2D and 3D categories. FVS students submitted artwork in ceramics, metalsmithing, studio art and photography.

Also chosen for the exhibition were FVS artists Yu Akimoto '19, Casey Allee Jumbo '16, Danny Capp '17, Aleck Chen '16, Min Seo Choi '18, Finnegan Cook '17, Luka Kimlicko '17, Sydney Lane '16, McKenna Monk '17, Izzy Nuñez '17, Samantha Pratt '16, Elinor Sisk '18, Ian Strine '17 and Bobbi York '16.
