Examples of Planned Gifts

Bequest

You designate FVS as a beneficiary in your will.

Retirement Plan

You designate FVS as a beneficiary in your retirement plan or IRA.

Charitable Lead Trust

You can set up a trust that provides payments to FVS over a number of years and, upon your death, the remainder of the assets return to other beneficiaries you designate.

Charitable Remainder Trust

You can set up a trust that provides payments to you for your lifetime and then, upon death, the remainder of the trust comes to FVS.

When you notify Fountain Valley School of your intentions to make a planned gift, you automatically become part of the Elizabeth Sage Hare Society. While unrestricted planned gifts are preferred, we welcome the opportunity to discuss designated gifts as well, and encourage you to consult legal and financial professionals to learn more about the benefits of making a planned gift.
