An energetic hub for training and playing, the 60,000 sq. ft. Julie and Spencer Penrose Athletic Center boasts a 6,000-sq.-ft. climbing gym with 40-ft. walls, an eight-lane pool, a spin room, a weight room and a basketball/volleyball gym. Built in 2018, it is state of the art.

The Art Barn inspires creativity. This unique facility, a hay barn original to campus, was converted into studio spaces for ceramics, metalsmithing, painting, printmaking, photography and film classes. The beautiful Bedford Gallery showcases student artwork.
Students gather in the Frautschi Campus Center during free periods and on weekends to hang out, study together, order snacks from the Roadkill Cafe and play a game of ping pong, pool or chess. Flags hanging from the ceiling represent the countries of our international students.
Just two hours away and at the foot of the majestic Collegiate Peaks, the Mountain Campus is a learning landscape and lodge in a spectacular setting that is built for camaraderie and fun. You’ll head there for seminars, class retreats, ski weekends, outdoor-ed outings and more.
English and Western riders share spectacular facilities, including one of the largest indoor arenas in Colorado with 33 stalls, tack rooms and viewing rooms. There are four outdoor arenas, a covered ring and 1,100 acres of open prairie for trail riding.
FVS is a private, college-preparatory, co-ed, day and boarding school for grades 9-12 in Colorado Springs.
