Fountain Valley's comprehensive college preparatory curriculum offers over 100 interdisciplinary courses designed to expand students' insights into learning. A range of honors and advanced-level courses as well innovative technologies challenge learners to think big, while small, in-depth discussions enable students to share their opinions, engage in lively conversation, and embrace a global perspective.

Set amid a majestic Rocky Mountain landscape, Fountain Valley takes full advantage of its unique location in the American West to provide a one-of-a-kind and inspiring athletic experience. In addition to offering traditional sports such as basketball, lacrosse, soccer and swimming, FVS proudly offers non-traditional mountain sports ranging from climbing to biking to skiing and three-season Western and English Riding programs.

Fountain Valley offers a unique twist on the traditional boarding school experience. The School's location in Colorado State provides immediate access to countless natural resources that promote outdoor education in one-of-a-kind learning environments. Whether attending an ecology lesson outdoors on FVS's 1,100-acre Prairie or exploring art in nature at the School's 40-acre Mountain Campus, students gain a deeper understanding of the land and its people.

Fountain Valley School aims to cultivate change-seekers who embrace the world around them, advocate for both themselves and others, and take action in their local communities and beyond. A variety of signature offerings, ranging from global immersion programs such as Round Square and Interim to in-depth research projects like the Senior Capstone and Global Scholar/STEM Diploma, pave the way for college and beyond as students explore their passions.
