Enrich Your Summer.

Summer Session days are rich and full. Mornings are devoted to academic pursuits, as students choose from a wide range of courses in the languages, reading and writing, math, science, and the arts. Our classes provide tailored instruction so that each student achieves their summer learning goals.

Afternoons are for activities! Our students participate in two daily activities of their choice. Offerings include yoga, indoor rock climbing, horsemanship, theater games, tennis, soccer, swimming, arts and crafts, and weight training. After a delicious dinner and some well-earned free time, students’ nights are devoted to all-school events such as performances, competitions, and local outings.

On weekends, we adventure! Highlights include ziplining, white water rafting, hiking, and sporting and cultural events in both Colorado Springs and Denver.

Residential Life

Fountain Valley School is Ranked the #1 Best Boarding High School in Colorado by Niche.com. FVS' unique adobe-style dormitories, built for small groups
of 16 to 20 students each, are nestled in peaceful pockets around the Campus Center. Students who choose the boarding option will enjoy forming close-knit friendships with their roommates and dorm community. Faculty members are in residence, guiding their dorm family in daily residential life. FVS prioritizes community safety with end-to-end digital security and 24-hour campus patrol.

Dining

All on-campus meals take place in FVS’s modern Dining Hall offering sweeping views of Pikes Peak. Our fantastic kitchen staff cooks each meal from scratch, with care taken to source as many ingredients as possible from local producers. The chefs source authentic recipes from cultures around the world, and make daily use of our brick pizza oven. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options at every meal, and food is carefully prepared and labeled with respect to potential allergens.
