HISTORY
Fountain Valley School of Colorado was established in 1930, originally as an all boys high school for boarding and day students.
LOCATION
FVS's 1,100-acre Prairie campus, situated at the base of the Rocky Mountains in the city of Colorado Springs (approximately 80 miles south of Denver) provides an unrivaled environment for academic, athletic, and artistic growth.
SMALL CLASSES
A 12:1 student-teacher ratio fosters strong connections and in-depth discussions across over 100 courses.
FINANCIAL AID
Students receive an average $3.4M in tuition assistance from FVS each academic year.
OUR FACULTY
Fountain Valley School employs nearly 100 full-time faculty and staff. Approximately 98% of full-time teaching faculty reside on campus, and 63% of all teaching faculty hold advanced degrees.
RESIDENCE LIFE
Boarders enjoy 10 spacious, adobe residential houses built for 16 to 20 students each.
HEAD OF SCHOOL
Megan Harlan joined Fountain Valley on July 1, 2022, as the ninth head in school history.
MOUNTAIN CAMPUS
Located two hours from FVS’s main campus, the Mountain Campus brings students and faculty together each academic year in a spectacular setting at the foot of the Collegiate Peaks.
