Entering his 17th
year in the admission profession, Randy has overseen the growth of the
student body at FVS to record levels. Prior to joining FVS, Randy was
the dean of admission and financial aid at McCallie School in
Chattanooga, Tenn. He also worked as director of admission and
financial aid at The Webb Schools in Claremont, Calif., and as an
assistant director of admission at Connecticut College in New London,
Conn. In 1987-88, Randy toured the United States, Canada, Scandinavia
and the former Soviet Union as a member of the cast of “Up With
People.” He lives on campus with his wife, Kate, and their children,
Charlotte and Jonathan.

For the last two
years, Kate has been a senior fellow at El Pomar Foundation, serving as
the high school director of El Pomar Youth in Community Service
(EPYCS), director of the Empty Stocking Fund and the program officer at
the Awards for Excellence. She lives on campus.

While attending
Holy Cross, Justine played four years of
NCAA Division I lacrosse and two years of Division III ice hockey. As a
senior at Holy Cross, she was selected as
the offensive player of the year for the lacrosse team. Justine was
also an
all-Patriot League academic selection. Justine came to FVS in 2007 from
Wyoming Seminary and King's College. During her four years at Wyoming
Seminary, she was the head girls ice hockey coach and assistant field
hockey coach, while teaching in the art department. Along with her work
at Wyoming Seminary, she also served as the head women's lacrosse coach
at King's College, an NCAA Division III lacrosse program in
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. This past summer Justine coached lacrosse with Team
180, a club team out
of Denver, Colo., and also traveled to coach at the Prague Lacrosse Cup
in
Prague, Czech Republic. She is married to FVS Athletic Director Chris
Button, and they live on campus with their dog, Otis.
