Bemis School of Art and Fountain Valley School have partnered to offer art and acting day camps set in 1,100 acres of pure prairie surround the campus, along with fresh air and expansive views of the Western landscape.
Students ages 9-14 years will stretch their imaginations with a variety of artistic styles, techniques and materials, theatre games, mime and improvisation.
Art activities explore elements of composition and design through painting, printmaking, collage, and more; Acting activities develop skills like voice, movement and characterization. Art and acting will come together at the end of each session, with a special showcase performance and art exhibit for friends and family on Friday.
Each child should bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen and come prepared for a variety of activities and weather. No open-toe shoes or sandals.
Activities will take place in the School's amazing Tutt Visual Arts Center (also known as the Art Barn), the Performing Arts Center, and in areas around campus. |
